John C. Campbell Folk School
John C. Campbell Folk School provides experiences in non-competitive learning and community life that are joyful and enlivening. Located in scenic Brasstown, North Carolina, the Folk School offers year-round weeklong and weekend classes for adults in craft, art, music, dance, cooking, gardening, nature studies, photography and writing.
Founded in 1893, Hood College is a private liberal arts college that is consistently ranked as one of the nations best colleges. Hood provides a residential experience for undergraduate women, as well as graduate and undergraduate education for both women and men.
Katonah Art Center
Offering visual arts instruction for all ages and skill levels. Our small classes allow the instructors to work with each student individually to help develop skills at his or her own pace, in a supportive, non-threatening environment.
Potters for Peace
Potters for Peace is a US-based, nonprofit network of potters, technicians, supporters, and volunteers. Founded in Nicaragua in 1986, we work with clay artisans in Central America and worldwide on ceramic water purification projects.
Featuring visiting artist workshops throughout the summer months at beautiful Lake Tahoe. Workshops for credit or non-credit; lunches included; housing available.
